With the new project "Silence that demolished the monument", the Serbian National Council wanted to draw attention to Vojin Bakić's sculpture Monument to the Victory of the People of Slavonia and created a multimedia story through an artistic installation on the site of the demolished monument, with the idea of its reconstruction. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the physical demolition of the monument, which paradigmatically points to the policy of systematic demolition of anti-fascist monuments related to the national liberation struggle, and the negligence that enabled the devastation, which continues to this day, SNV wanted to break the silence of the public and point out that the monument despite by the fact that it was demolished even today deep in people's consciousness.
